Demre Myra Kekova
Did you know that Demre, or actually, the ancient city of Myra is the place of birth of who we know today as Santa Claus? St Nicholas of Myra lived here for 70 years! It is definitely one of the most interesting cities in the ancient land called Lycia. On our excursion we will stop at the church of his name and explore the impressive complex of rock tombs. Then we'll have a moment to admire a beautiful Roman theatre of Myra.
In the second part of the day we will enjoy a peaceful cruise through the ruins of sunken city Kekova which has been flooded as a result of an earthquake. If you want, you can take a bath in crystal clear waters or even go snorkeling in a safe distance from the ancient ruins. Such stunning surroundings guarantee pleasure and relax. It will be a day full of joy!
