Our first stop on K.A.S. (Kursunlu, Aspendos, Side) tour is picturesque Side, an ancient town located right by the seashore. There you will have the chance to lazily stroll along the streets remembering the ancient times, with their charming old houses and atmospheric cafes. This pleasant walk will eventually lead us to the harbor, where the famous Apollo's Temple faces the sea. Here you'll have the moment to reflect on the history of the town, once an important center of slave trade.
Our itinerary also includes a climatic and soothing nature park with Kurşunlu Waterfalls, where in the shade and cool it will be possible to enjoy the beauty of the waterfalls and even walk directly behind the waterfall.
Historical Sites in Turkey
After pampering our eyes with magnificent viewsand delicious lunch, K.A.S. excursion will take us to Aspendos, the biggest and best-preserved in whole Asia Minor's theatre and the aqueducts nearby. The theatre was built in the Roman times and has been in use ever since! Moreover, the theatre can seat up to 20 thousand spectators. Annually Aspendos theatre hosts Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival (we are also selling the tickets for this event !), an important cultural event known all around the globe. The phenomenal acoustics of this place makes the shows perfectly audible for the viewers even in the last rows - without any modern technology!
