Kemer is located west of Antalya Airport, approximately 35 km away. It is a typical tourist area, but beautifully situated between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. Kemer has slightly different climate than the rest of Turkish Riviera - it is greener, the beaches are rather rocky, but picturesquely situated in coves. Kemer itself is a tiny town with a pleasant center, a yacht port and atmospheric pubs. There are also other tourist destinations in the area such as Beldibi, Kuzdere, Göynük in the east and Kiriş, Çamyuva, and Tekirova in the west. Near Kemer you can visit interesting places, often picturesquely situated. One of them is the ancient town of Phaselis, which you can visit on one of our tours. In addition, there is also the wonderful city of Olympos. Enthusiasts of active leisure will surely be attracted by the Goynuk Canyon or a trekking trip to the so-called "Chimera fires". Gas comes out from the ground there, and in contact with oxygen creates ever burning fires ... this place looks especially picturesque in the evening! An attraction in itself is the possibility of taking a cable car to the top of Olympos (actually Tahtali), at an altitude of 2366 m above sea level. Even in the middle of hot summer you can find some snow on the top! Excursions we recommend from Kemer are (apart from the above-mentioned local attractions) : Demre - the city of St. Nicholas and the sunken ancient Kekova, Antalya - a beautiful, vibrant city, Cappadocia and Pamukkale.
